arm immobilizer for young self mutilation
Posted By: Richard Feldman on November 15, 2016
Dear List Serve, The office I am with does an extremely small amount if any requests for arm immobilizers to prevent severely mentally impaired young children, teens, and adults from harming themselves with their hands. The orthosis used is a elbow immobilizer and they are looking for more choices to provide answers leading to protective results to prevent self harm. Please, if anyone can provide some leads to treat children to adult patient please let me know so we may satisfy this occasional clinical presentation. Sincerely, Rick Feldman, cpo |
