Responses to the A+ Transcription Inquiry
Posted By: Melissa Edwards on August 25, 2016
I had several who asked that I reply with the responses I received. I have them listed below. Overwhelmingly positive! A+ was great. The advantage is that you download your dictation (and I assume) human hears it and translates and it was mostly accurate (always can edit if nit accurate). The problem with dictating to them is when your dictating and get interrupted how do you know what you've already dictated and what you have not. I use Siri for dictation and have been satisfied mostly. Of course I need to edit and again. But at least I know where I've left off, where to continue and as I edit I remember additional info that further justifies medical necessity. Opie has done well giving us options. There are advantages to a human hearing and doing dictation but I find it easier to work with Siri for thoroughness and visually seeing what she came up with. Yes we use A+. They are awesome. I have not found a downside. They give great customer service, and are very familiar with OPIE, good turn around time, and the best accuracy of any service we have used. Hi Melissa, I use them through the OPIE software and couldn't be more pleased. Very accurate! Melissa Edwards Chief Compliance Officer [cid:image001.jpg@01D1FED4.B5660920] 4338 Williamson Rd.
