Multi-Disciplinary Approach to Amputee Care
Posted By: Heaton, Mary on February 1, 2017
Dear Listserv, We in the Orthotics and Prosthetics Program at School of Allied Health of the Baylor College of Medicine are beginning to research the multi-disciplinary approach to lower limb amputation care. We are contacting you because we believe you may be eligible because of your career as a certified or licensed prosthetist or physician. The study will aim to understand what the current state of the multidisciplinary care system is in regards to the surgeon and prosthetist interaction. We hope to highlight the need for communication between the different healthcare fields in order to create opportunities to improve the state of amputee patient care. The link below will take you to the survey should you choose to participate. https://bcmop.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_5tlFMy1sS5jFnCt Best, Mary Heaton MSOP Candidate '17 Baylor College of Medicine Orthotics and Prosthetics Program |
