Allard USA, a leader in innovative orthotic solutions for those with
physical challenges is the newest Silver Level Sponsor for OPAF & The First
Clinics. In lieu of holiday gifts this season, Allard has chosen to make a
generous donation to the First Clinics so that the work of adaptive
recreation for those served by the orthotic and prosthetic community will
continue.



Allard USA has been witness to many of the life changing benefits of their
products. The heartfelt stories that come in through letters, e-mail and
phone calls have inspired Allard USA to further meet the needs of patients
through donations such as this. They have been inspired by stories like
Beth Deloria's, once unable to walk due to a "perfect storm of birth
defects", now able to run again thanks to Allard's ToeOFF. To date she has
run in several Chicago and Boston Marathons. And who could forget Mayra,
who after using the ToeOFF, is now able to get around without the use of a
wheelchair. This independence has greatly improved her self esteem. Wid,
while wise in age, has said that Allard's Blue Rocker's have made him feel
young again. He has taken his "Rockers" on many backpacking trips through
the Grand Canyon as well as abroad.
