King Pin knee joints
Posted By: kevin on August 24, 2016
Hello all, I got a call from a patient that has a KAFO with the old King Pin knee joints, a Fillauer product that's been long discontinued. He says the joint heads need to be replaced. Fillauer doesn't have any. I'm wondering if anyone has a pair, new or used that I could replace his with. He is a polio survivor and likes his current braces and would prefer to keep them if possible. He says the uprights are 3/4" stainless, so I would need that size channel. I know this is a shot in the dark, but I told him I'd try. I haven't seen him before, he just called and lives 3 hours away. Thank you. Kevin C.
