Looking for people to test out new prosthetic arm
Posted By: Davidson, Matthew on March 21, 2017
Hello list, I'm a graduate student at the University of Colorado researching new designs for a prosthetic arm. I'm looking for 2-3 people with a trans-radial amputation to come test out my new device. The test will take about 3 hours and you will be paid 30$. We prefer to to the testing at the Colorado Children's Hospital in Denver but I can also drive to meet you if you are within a few hours of Denver. Inclusion criteria are: • Between 18 and 80 years of age • Have a transradial amputation (between wrist and elbow) on either side • Have experience using a prosthesis • Do not have cognitive, vision, or hearing limitations This research is approved by the Colorado Multiple Institution Review Board. If you or someone you know might be interested in taking part, please have them email me. Thank you. -Matthew +=+ Matthew Davidson, M.S.
