cosmetic fingertip prosthesis
Posted By: Joan Cestaro on March 21, 2017
Listers- Due to insurance noncoverage, we don't see many cosmetic fingertip prosthetics these days, at least not in my rural, little town. I haven't made one in many years. I'd like feedback on companies only if you've used them within the last year or so. Quality can change quickly, so I'm looking for RECENT usage feedback and company suggestions. Because this will be cosmetic only, color matching will be very important. She MAY consider traveling to have the color customized, which is at least how this used to be done years ago. She currently has a 10 year old silicone device that has turned slightly orange and stained. Suggestions for how to clean these or perhaps a company who might be able to restore or custom paint this older finger prosthesis? Joan K. Cestaro, C.P. |
