FDA/ABC - Component/brace tracking

I am looking for input to determine the best way for our office to track braces fit, components used, etc. We do not currently have the ability to do so through practice management software. We have explored using Excel but I wanted to see what other facilities may be doing to comply with these new requirements who also don’t have practice management software to help with the process. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
