Performance recovery audit
Posted By: Frank Shirley on May 23, 2016
I recently received an audit. Within the text of the letter it said the subject of the audit was L1960. However the patient also received a KAFO of the other side. The amount listed for recovery was the amount for both orthoses. I called to clarify but got the standard answer of send as much documentation as you think appropriate. I will send documentation for both orthosis but I wondered if anyone had run into this situation before on a audit, I realize that more than likely the first submission will be rejected so then will follow with appeal. Any input on this specific situation will be appreciated. Frank Shirley C.O. |
