Provision of P&O services ~ Reimbursement variance

Good Afternoon,

Is there any data to support the concept that Medicaid (and/or
private insurance) reimbursement for P & O services provided to
outpatients from a hospital based P&O department would be less than the
reimbursement to a private vendor providing the same service to the same
patients?
